Detailed transformation of a chandelier manufacturing atelier building into a high-end residence and office. Sensitive restoration of an internationally famous and iconic residential building and its transformation into private residences. The scope includes the restoration of an existing façade and solid structural pieces, use of authentic historical methods of cladding and preservation, a sensational entrance hall mural handmade by forty Balkan painters and a structural reinforcement for historic staircase tower and an insertion of an open plan structure.

Rewarded 4th position in International competition, the competition entry presented a strategic design potential for the future growth of Gadeokdo, a South Korean 22km2 island. This island is globally known for its geographical positioning hosting trade routes of mega infrastructures whose investments exceed twenty billion US Dollars.

YeniKapı Archeological Park and Terminal Building, Istanbul, Turkey

Master Plan Organization and Architectural Project Leadership for land highly significant for its positioning on an archeological site and for its prime urban role including a terminal building of a daily capacity of 1.5 million passengers; A junction connecting Marmaray and Istanbul North-South Metro lines. A very complex site happened to be one of the first ports in known history of the region. Program includes; museum, terminal building, cultural institutes, parks. Organized an international design competition, prepared the competition brief in collaboration with Municipality of Istanbul, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Culture, Istanbul Archeological Museum, Municipality of Eyup, Istanbul Metropolitan Planing Office.

A 430 ha eco-­‐‑friendly master planned, water focused new high density mixed use community in metro Tianjin. Master plan included a framework development plan that outlined the phasing, focal open space design and environmental recommendations for the area.

The concept masterplan for the city of Baodi located north of Tianjin city, a total area of 60 sq.km where urbanity meets nature. The intent is to provide a new vision and identity for the city through integrating the surrounding natural and cultural resources into the planning of the town.

Tianjin Haihe Embankment Competition, Tianjin, China

The landscape masterplan for the first phase development of the 18km Haihe river, mother river of Tianjin. The landscape planning and design involves the concept development for the 6km embankment treatment in relation to the city, the overall landscape design language and the proposal of design concepts for various landscape elements such as site furniture and lighting.

The competition proposal is focused on the regional aspects of Suzhou train station at the Yangtze river delta including Shanghai. The proposal includes recommendations on the positioning of the city as well as urban design (8 km2) and architectural design of the station.

Comprehensive regional study, urban design and landscape framework for 42 km urban river corridor including detail river embankment and open space design. Lead consultant of an international design team consisting of environmental signage, lighting, transportation, architecture and financial analysts.

Mei Jang Nan Glass Factory New Community, Tianjin, China

The Masterplan of a new water front community for 50K residents at the outskirts of city of Tianjin. Concept plan includes rehabilitation of an existing industrial complex for mixed use town center. The project challenges the notions of sustainability and neighborhood development for the new communities in China.
